TA’ MALTA WEBSITE
INTRODUCTION
This project is a design challenge, for a hypothetical, fictional local food producer by the name of TA’ MALTA. The brand offers premium products at an accessible price that are genuine and formed from scratch in Malta. These produts are sourced from locally available resources and manufactured locally as well.
GOAL
To come up with a redesign of the website that would increase user retention and develop features that would be tailored towards improving the user experience versus the competition.
MY ROLE
I designed and researched the project from beginning to end. I researched the target competition and determined a persona to build the case around. I then asked for user feedback by asking friends and professionals in the field for their impressions.
ABOUT TA’ MALTA
The unique selling point of this product is to offer premium products at an accessible price that are genuine and formed from scratch in Malta. These produts are sourced from locally available resources and manufactured locally as well. The product might cost a bit more compared to other products but you can be rest assured that it is a genuine Maltese product from start to finish - the value is in the process!
The company aims to focus its products towards restaurant owners and stores (boutique) that are highly curated. Another target market would be towards housewives. That said, the product could also be shown at restaurant tables (eg. olive oil) with the future possibility of expanding outside of Malta.
